What is your turn around time for framing services?

Once you have chosen your framing options it usually takes a minimum of one week for the team at Strathfield Picture Framing to complete your order. However, if you do have an urgent framing job we’ve provided same day service when required. Speak to us about your specifications and we’ll do our best to meet all your framing needs.

What is your turn around time for canvas and printing services?

Once you have supplied your image file Strathfield Picture Framing will check your image quality against your specified print size. Once all is confirmed, turnaround takes 2 days. However, if you do have an urgent job our team have provided same day service when required.

Can you do a custom print or canvas size?

Fixed pricing on for custom printing here and canvas printing here. If your size is outside of our fixed pricing simply contact us for a quote with your size, quantity and substrate you would like to print on. Quotations usually take 24 hours.

Do you replace broken or chipped glass from a picture frame?

We can definitely replace broken or chipped glass. Bring in your picture for a measure and quote. Then our team will dissemble the frame and clean out any residue dust, replace with the glass you require (normal, non-reflective or Perspex) and seal so the picture to go back on the wall is good for years to come.

Can you help hanging my picture?

We realise that hanging can be the hardest part of the framing process. If you need assistance hanging your new picture we can help. This service costs $75 per hour. There is a minimum charge one hour.

How do I transport my puzzle for framing?

We understand that once you’ve completed your puzzle it can be hard to transport this to be framed. If you contact us with your puzzle measurement, we will provide you with transport material free of charge.

When are your art classes on?

The art classes are held by Creative Juice and Energy by Juli Alcorne and Barbie Hooper. Each class contains 2 and a half hours of art, drawing and painting and learning new media and techniques in printmaking and sculpture, recycled objects, almost anything and anyone can make art. Our classes cover; form, line, composition, perspective, drawing with wire, collectors collage, paper dying and layering, contact printing, great relief hebel sculpture, impressive linocut printing, self-portrait photography or drawing project, crash and bash china or porcelain mosaics, appropriation – alternative processes, techniques of abstraction scale, distortion, minimalism, paint dripping, splatter painting, geometric designs and geometric abstraction, mix mediums, paint free form and construction

When: every Friday from 11am till 1:30pm
Cost: $28.00 per person

When are your paper tole classes on?

Bring prints of your choice and be guided by one of Australia’s leading Paper Tole Teachers’ Kevin Menzies (all levels welcome). Kevin will assist you with many techniques including feathering, furring, snow scenes, and floor and ceiling perspective and much more.

An introductory class is also available. During this class you will complete one project.

When: Every Wednesday 9:30am – 12:00pmĀ  and 12:30 pm – 3:00pm
Every Saturday 9:00 am – 11:30am and 12:00 pm – 2:30pm
Cost: $30 Introductory class with all equipment provided. Once you have completed the introductory class it is $15.00 per class.
All materials needed are available for use at extra cost of $5.00.
